This can be split into two regions: search directories and pay-per-click (PPC). Main search engines are considered a directory and it usually takes time for your link to even make it on, but the cost is relatively inexpensive. Pay-per-click is a more efficient way to market your business, but can cost you much more over time.

E-Zines (article marketing) tend to be the most effective marketing path for your budget. Two methods are worthy of mentioning: solo ads and top-line ads. The first includes only your ad being sent to a newsletter list whereas the latter shows your ad at the top or bottom of the newsletter itself. Obviously, the solo ad will cost you a greater price.
